The poems are created by an advanced AI that analyzes and emulates the style of the selected poet. They are not original works by the poets, but rather new, unique poems written in their respective style. Each poem is a one-of-a-kind creation made specifically for your photo.

The portraits of the poets were generated with AI and serve as visual representations. They are not historical photographs or paintings. The images are meant to help you recognize the poets and establish a personal connection.

Our selection includes over 300 poets from 44 countries. We've emphasized a diverse mix: from classical masters like Goethe, Shakespeare, and Rumi to modern poets from all continents. The selection considers different eras, styles, and cultural backgrounds.

Yes! After selecting a photo, you can choose from the entire poet collection the style in which your poem should be written. You can therefore have the same photo interpreted in different poetic styles.

Poem Diary supports 44 languages — from German and English to French, Spanish, and Japanese, as well as Hindi and Vietnamese. The app automatically detects your device language and creates poems in that language.

Creation typically takes only a few seconds. You can watch the poem being created in real time, as the text appears word by word — a particularly fascinating experience.

Yes! You can use the same photo as many times as you like and select a different poet each time. This creates completely different poems from the same image — each interpretation is unique.

Any photo is suitable in principle. Particularly impressive poems emerge from images with atmosphere — landscapes, seasons, special moments, or emotional scenes. The AI analyzes your image and draws inspiration from the colors, atmosphere, and content.

By the way, the AI also recognizes text in the image, such as on signs or T-shirts, and incorporates it into the poem.

Images with pornographic, violence-glorifying, or politically extreme content are not suitable. The AI recognizes such content and will reject the generation — you'll receive a corresponding notice.

You need an internet connection to create new poems, as the AI runs on our servers. However, you can view your already created poems offline anytime, as they're stored locally on your device.

Yes! You can save each poem as an image. The poem is formatted as a beautiful image together with your photo, the poet's name, and the title, which you can save to your photo library.

Yes! You can share your poems directly from the app via all common channels — whether WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, email, or other apps. The poems are shared as attractively designed images that combine your photo and the poem.

Yes! You can add a personal note to each poem you create — for example, what moved you about the moment or to whom you'd like to dedicate the poem. The note can optionally be included in the shared image when sharing.

The poem text itself cannot be changed, as each poem is an authentic AI work in the style of the chosen poet. However, you can edit your personal note at any time. If you don't like a result, you can simply create a new poem with the same photo.

You can explore the app without signing in and view the sample poems. To create your own poems, you'll need to sign in with your Apple-ID. Sign-in is quick and secure with just one tap.

Yes! After signing in with your Apple-ID, you'll receive free poem generations so you can try out the app at your leisure. You can also view the sample poems in the app anytime to get a feel for it.

Poem Diary offers three subscriptions with generous poem allowances:

Weekly subscription: Ideal for trying it out.
Monthly subscription: Our most popular option.
Annual subscription: The best price per month.

You can see the exact number of poems included directly in the app. After each billing period ends, your allowance is automatically reset.

If you ever use up your allowance, you can purchase additional Credit Packs as one-time purchases (10, 50, or 100 credits). Credits don't expire and are automatically used once your regular allowance is depleted. An active subscription is required to use credits.

You can find current prices for your country directly in the app. Subscriptions renew automatically but can be cancelled at any time.

Yes! If you sign in on another device with the same Apple-ID, your poems will automatically sync. Your subscription also applies to all devices linked to your Apple-ID.

No! All your created poems will remain fully intact. You can still view, share, and download them. Without an active subscription, you just won't be able to create new poems.

Since the subscription is managed through Apple, you cancel it in your iPhone settings:

1. Open Settings on your iPhone
2. Tap your name (at the top)
3. Select Subscriptions
4. Select Poem Diary and tap Cancel Subscription

The cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.

You may freely use the poems created with Poem Diary for personal purposes — whether as a gift, on social media, or as a personal keepsake. Commercial use (e.g., publishing in a book for sale) is not permitted.

Your photos are transmitted to our servers exclusively for poem creation, where they are analyzed by the AI. The photos are not permanently stored and are not used for AI training. Only you have access to your photos and poems.

Yes! In the app settings, you'll find the option to completely delete your account. This will irreversibly remove all your data — your account, all poems, and your photos. Please note that an active subscription must be canceled separately in your iPhone settings.
